Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Known worldwide as Lady Gaga. She was brought up within Manhattan New York United States. Her mother Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of the mobile operator Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr., a businessman and director of an internet-based network was her father. The family she grew up with was Catholic and she was raised on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. The parents of her were enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. The passion for music started as a small kid. She taught herself how to play a keyboard, and, at age thirteen, wrote her first track. She performed at open mics. Her most favored artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. Following her graduation from high school, she enrolled in at the Tisch School of Art at New York University to study music. But she did not pursue her studies, and instead she quit the school to begin her music career.
